Hundreds of
restaurants in Queens offer some of the best tasting food in the
world, yet traveling to all parts of the borough can sometimes be a
burdening task – until now. With just one phone call and a menu,
Waiter On The Run can get your Bourbon Street steak or your Jackson
Hole cheeseburger delivered right to your door.
Unfortunately, not everyone has the privilege, however. Its
services are bordered to the west by Flushing, to the south at
Jamaica Estates, to the north at Whitestone and run all the way east
to the Nassau border.
Waiter On the Run currently provides
delivery service for more than 20 restaurants in the borough,
including a great selection from Bell Boulevard, such as Uncle
Jack’s Steakhouse, First Edition Bar and Grill, Bourbon Street and
the famous Jackson Hole Diner.
Other featured restaurants
include Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs, Tokyo Steak and Scobee Diner, to
name a few.
To get started, customers need to the know the
toll-free Waiter On The Run phone number and have a copy of their
menus on hand. If you don’t have the menu, you can log onto their
Web Site, www.waiterontherun.com, and find it there. Technologically
challenged? You can discuss your order with an operator to figure
out from what establishment and which meal you will order.
The only downfall is the wait that it sometimes takes for
delivery. So, decide early because delivery can take an hour or
more. It is definitely worth it, however, simply because the only
other way you would be eating a Subway sandwich is if you went out
and got it yourself.
There is a 15 percent service charge,
which includes the delivery person’s tip, and some of the
restaurants are pricey, but the food you’ll be eating outweighs the
local pizza or Chinese delivery that most of us are accustomed
to. |
